I loved this account about the development of Setting pt on Anegada. My husband and I have been sailing there for 15 years and think of it as our 2nd home. We have gotten to know the Soares family through a mutual friend (who is now 90 yrs. old) . They are a wonderful family and continue to run the restaurant and bar and Mark and Deane continue to fish. It is a "must go to " place if you are visiting Anegada. Even though this book is not written in 'novel' form, it would be a great movie!Product details

Wow! As they say, some people think about and some people do it. And John Ingle definitely did.
This is an amazingly story of someone who made a decision that made of us would not.
There is some technical information, and this adds more details.
There is also a love story, which gives the story an extra dimension.
A fantastic first novel, and I await the second...
What happens next?
A lovely book! A real story of real people. The technical parts are funny and understandable, even for me (I'm not an english speaker). Very well written! John Ingle gives us an outstanding description of the makings and trouble solutions in a time without computers, faxes, cell phones, etc.
But there is more an incredible love story! Amazing! Worth reading! Anegada will remain in my dearest memories!
